We want to send you a 1099, so we need a W-9 and your tax ID

We're a C-Corporation. According to IRS rules, you do not need to send us a 1099 (read the "Exceptions" section on page 2 of the IRS instructions for form 1099-NEC here). Additionally, payments made through a merchant processor (such as by credit card or via ACH), are excluded from 1099-NEC requirements. If however, you would like to send us something that goes directly to the circular file, we'll be happy to oblige if you're really wanting to send us something.
