If your organization has multiple On Call Central accounts—such as accounts for different locations, branches, or specialties—you may need to add a provider who already has access to another account.
You do not need to create a new user or a separate login for them. Instead, you can add their existing user profile to the additional account.
Add an Existing User to Your Account
- Log in to your On Call Central web portal.
- Go to Settings.
- Select Manage Users.
- Click Show Disabled Users.
- Search for the user’s name, or locate them in the list.
- Click + Add to Account next to their name.
- Review and select the appropriate permissions for the user.
- Click Save.
The user will now have access to both the new account and any other On Call Central accounts they were already associated with.
Switching Between Accounts
Users with access to multiple accounts can use the same username and password for all of them.
In the On Call Central app:
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap the account name.
- Select the account you would like to access.
In the web portal:
- Click the account name in the upper-left corner of the page.
- Select the account you would like to access.
Why Should I Add the Existing User Instead of Creating a New One?
Adding the user’s existing profile prevents duplicate-user errors that can occur when trying to create another user with the same email address or contact methods.
It also means the user only needs one On Call Central login. Their existing username and password will provide access to all of the accounts they have been added to.
If you have any trouble adding an existing user to another account, please contact On Call Central Support. We’re happy to help!
